With more than 30 years’ experience in the motor trade, Darrel ‘Fred’ Thorn decided to go-it-alone in the summer of 2016, opening the garage doors for the first time to ICONIC 4x4. His unsurpassed knowledge of all things Landrover, Defender and Series has given Hampshire’s numerous Landy owners an honest, professional, first-class base for all their servicing, repair, restoration and bodywork requirements.

Fred’s transparency is a rare find in the motoring business; you won’t ever fall prey to work that wasn’t required or replacement parts that were never needed. He is happy to explain the works required, in plain English(!) along with the processes your Landy will go through, providing you with all the options possible, a timeframe and a budget. 

Every tool, product and part used to carry out work to your vehicle is of the highest quality, tried and tested to ensure efficacy, longevity and reliability; if Fred wouldn’t use it on his own Landrover, he won’t use it on yours.
